About DigitalAssetCompliance
New York federal prosecutors charged two former tech employees with allegedly using nonpublic business information to trade derivatives before announcements for profit. Case is at the allegation stage, and defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty. It highlights scrutiny of information controls, employee trading and fair trading, rather than pointing to one platform. Reviews of announcements, derivatives, wallet trails and internal data are sharpening crypto compliance boundaries.

#RobinhoodTokenNewRights Stock tokens are starting to blur the line between crypto and actual ownership 👀
Robinhood plans to let eligible holders redeem tokens for real shares and vote, even though the tokens themselves don't confer direct ownership.
What caught my attention is the issuer question.
If platforms can tokenize stocks without company approval, tokenization could scale much faster. But giving those tokens shareholder-like rights may make that legal boundary much harder to ignore.

Two different approaches to tokenized equities:
@Securitize tokenizes its own equity natively and distributes it across multiple blockchains.
@RobinhoodApp takes a different route, using a wrapper to tokenize selected equities on its own blockchain — but notably, not its own stock.
If you truly believe in your product, why not use it yourself, @vladtenev?

Crypto stocks ≠ US stocks, so what exactly is the difference? Robinhood is now trying to bridge this gap.
Previously, when you bought Apple or Tesla on-chain, you were essentially buying stock tokens, not the actual US stocks.
Buying US stocks = you are a shareholder.
Buying crypto stocks = you hold an on-chain financial instrument representing the stock's value.#FOMCRateCallThisWeek #AIAnxietyHitsChipStocks #SaudiOilPipelineDamaged
The compliance boundary starts before an announcement reaches the market.
