How do I add funds to OKX Money?
There are three ways to fund your OKX Money balance: buy with your local currency, buy from another user through P2P, or transfer in USD stablecoins you already hold. Select Add funds on the Home screen to see the options available in your country.
We don't charge a fee to add funds.
How do I transfer USD stablecoins I already hold?
Select Add funds, then Deposit
Choose the token you're sending: USDG, USDC, or USDT
Choose the network. This must match the network you select in the app you're sending from
Copy the address, or show the QR code to scan
Send from the other app
Your balance updates once the transfer confirms. For a large transfer, we may ask you to confirm it's you before crediting it.
Notes:
Whatever network you send from, your OKX Money balance is held on X Layer. We move your funds across for you once they arrive — there's nothing for you to do, and no extra step to complete.
The network must match on both sides. Addresses can look similar across networks, but funds travel on different rails, and a mismatch means the transfer won't arrive. If it's your first transfer or a large one, send a small test amount first.
FAQ
1. Which networks and tokens can I use?
You can send USDG, USDC, or USDT on Tron, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Base.
The deposit screen in the app always shows the current list.
2. How do I buy token with my local currency?
Select Add funds and choose your local currency, then follow the steps. This works the same way as buying crypto on OKX — see How do I buy crypto with my cash balance for the details.
If your currency isn't listed, try P2P instead.
3. How do I buy token from another user?
Select Add funds and choose P2P. P2P works the same way as it does on OKX — see How do I buy crypto on OKX P2P trading? and the P2P buy crypto FAQ for the steps, escrow, and dispute process.
Always pay through the method shown in the app and mark the order as paid. Never move the conversation or the payment outside the app. See What can help prevent P2P crypto scams? before your first trade.
4. Is there a fee to add funds?
We don't charge a fee to add funds.
If you're transferring in from another app, that app may charge you to send — check on their side first. On P2P, the price you agree with the seller is the price, with no separate fee from us.
5. Is there a minimum amount?
Check the deposit screen in the app before you send — it shows any minimum that applies to the token and network you've chosen.
6. I sent it on the wrong network. Can I get it back?
Contact customer support immediately, and don't send anything else to the same address until you've spoken to us. Recovery is sometimes possible and sometimes not — for some networks, it isn't possible at all.
Have these ready:
The transaction ID (also called a hash or TxID) from the app you sent from
The network you actually sent on
The address you sent to
The amount and which token you sent
7. My deposit hasn't arrived, what should I do?
Check Activity first. See Transaction statuses and troubleshooting for what each status means and what to do.
