When you trade, do you calculate the total account risk in advance?
To be honest, when I used to open positions, my mind only had one thought: how much can I make this round. How much can I lose? I never thought about it. Until my account was wiped out in one go, I realized a painful truth — win rate doesn't matter, survival does.
Now before opening each position, I force myself to run through this calculation: assuming the account has 10,000 U, the single trade risk limit is 1% = 100 U. BTC current price is 96,000, stop loss at 93,800, risk per unit is 2,200 U. So the position size is 100 ÷ 2,200 ≈ 0.045 BTC. No matter how bullish I am, if I lose 100 U, I exit.
My red lines are simple: single trade ≤ 1%, total exposure ≤ 5%. That means opening 5 trades simultaneously, each 1%, worst case all stop out, the drawdown is only 5%, the account survives, and I can keep going tomorrow.
73% of liquidated contract accounts never set stop losses. It's not that they lack skill, but they rushed in without calculating the risk clearly. High leverage + no stop loss + multiple positions in the same direction = the three killers of liquidation, avoid all of them.
Now before opening a trade, I always ask myself four questions:
1. Where is the stop loss? What's the logic?
2. How much position size corresponds to a 1% loss?
3. Does the total risk including other trades exceed 5%?
4. Is leverage secretly amplifying the risk?
If I can't answer any one of these, I don't move my hand.
Trading isn't about who makes the most profit, it's about who controls drawdown. A 50% drawdown requires 100% gain to recover, a 75% drawdown requires 300% — math doesn't favor heavy positions.

Martingale: From the thrill of doubling to the nightmare of zeroing out, my practical review
Martingale was the most expensive lesson I've ever paid for. Simply put, it means doubling down on losses and running when you break even. It seems like a guaranteed win but is actually gambling with the market.
Last year, I used Martingale during BTC's sideways market, starting with a 100U position and doubling down on losses. In the first two weeks, my account grew from 1000U to 2800U. The thrill of recovering every loss was intoxicating. But on day 18, BTC suddenly plunged 8% in a single move, losing 6 trades in a row. The 7th time required adding 6400U — leading to immediate liquidation and zero balance. The 2800U profit plus 1000U principal vanished in one day.
Lessons learned from pitfalls
1. Sideways ≠ always sideways. Martingale only works in narrow ranges, but the market is sideways 80% of the time and trending 20%. That 20% trend can wipe you out. You never know when sideways ends.
2. Capital is limited, losses are unlimited. Losing 7 times in a row means 64x position size; 10 times means 512x. No matter how big your capital, exponential doubling is paper-thin.
3. Leverage is both an accelerator and a meat grinder. Martingale + high leverage = suicide. I used 10x; maybe 3x leverage could have survived that wave.
4. Stop profit and stop loss were set incorrectly. Martingale should have a "maximum drawdown stop loss" (e.g., force liquidation if total capital drops 20%) instead of stop loss per trade. I didn’t set a total stop loss, which was a fatal mistake.
The secret to survival isn’t how much you win, but not going zero in one shot @OKX成长学院

#BTC surges then falls back, options expiry amplifies the key level battle
$BTC surged from 62,000 all the way up to 81,000, touched 81,000 on the 25th and then reversed, now hovering around 78,000 — a typical "failed breakout + derivatives week" combo.
On Friday, about $640 million nominal BTC options on Deribit expire, with a Call/Put ratio of 0.83, slightly more bullish calls but a large number of calls stacked at the 75,000/80,000 key levels, with the highest open interest in 75,000 calls (about 236 million). Market makers' gamma hedging will pull the price toward the pain points, so before expiry the price will "pin" and needle back and forth between 75,000 and 80,000, which is much more likely than a one-sided breakout.
My judgment:
• 80,000 is not a real resistance, it’s a “false top” created by the options wall plus the psychological round number. The surge then fall is due to profit-taking on calls above and market makers selling hedges, not a complete spot market bearish reversal.
• 75,000 is the real watershed; breaking below it targets 72,000 support; reclaiming 80,000 with continued ETF net inflows means shedding the options burden.
• Expiry ≠ direction, it just removes the pinning. Volatility expands 24 hours before and after expiry; directional choice depends on who takes over after settlement — if spot ETF inflows can cover shorts, that’s a real breakout; otherwise, it’s a bull trap during settlement week followed by continued consolidation.
In terms of trading, don’t stubbornly guess a one-sided move between 75,000 and 80,000; reduce leverage one notch, wait for the close to pick a side and follow. This week’s profit comes from "volatility money," not "trend money."

BlackRock's affiliated wallet increased holdings overnight by 3620 BTC + 12,530 ETH! Are institutions quietly bottom-fishing, or is this the "automatic replenishment" from ETF subscriptions and redemptions? Just saw on-chain monitoring: BlackRock's ETF-related custody wallet showed large movements——
Increased holdings by 3620 BTC, increased holdings by 12,530 ETH
Many people got excited at first glance: "Wall Street giant buying on two fronts, is the bull market back?" Hold on. This move is most likely not BlackRock's trading desk actively buying, but rather IBIT/ETHA shares being subscribed → authorized participants sending tokens to the custody wallet to replenish the underlying assets.
In plain terms: Retail or institutional investors buy ETF shares, BlackRock passively receives orders and stocks up, it doesn't mean they are bullish on a pump tomorrow.
But the signal itself is not weak:
From 8.17 to 8.21 that week, IBIT had a net inflow of $1.33 billion, ETHA had a net inflow of $536.8 million, BlackRock took about 70% of the total BTC ETF inflows in the market
ETH/BTC has rebounded over 5% since July, institutions are clearly shifting exposure towards ETH
The affiliated wallet moving thousands of BTC at a time indicates real chips are flowing from exchanges to custody layers
My judgment:
In the short term, before BTC breaks out, 61.8k–64k remains a consolidation range; ETH is relatively strong, but don't get overconfident if 1900 doesn't hold. This news proves "institutions haven't withdrawn," not a "button for a surge tomorrow."

$ETH Morning Market Analysis
Current price 2500, surged to 2515 then faced resistance and pulled back, indicating a high-level resistance and retracement. The overall trend remains bullish, but short-term is overbought, selling pressure is starting to release, making 2500 the short-term bull-bear dividing line.
Key levels:
Resistance: 2515-2530, strong resistance at previous high 2550
Support: 2470-2480 (first support); strong support at 2440
Contract Trading Strategy
Long (with trend, do not chase at current price)
1. Conservative: Buy lightly after a pullback to 2470-2480 zone and a 15-minute candle closes showing a halt in decline; stop loss below 2435; first target 2515-2530, with volume breakout aiming for 2550.
2. Aggressive: After volume confirms holding above 2530, add small position; stop loss at 2495; target above 2550.
Important condition: If price closes below 2440, short-term bullish logic fails, stop going long.
Short (only short on rebound resistance, no trend reversal considered)
If rebound stalls in 2515-2530 zone with a long upper shadow candle, try small short; stop loss at 2545; targets first 2480, then 2460.
If volume breaks above 2530, exit short immediately, do not hold the position.
Personal bias
Mid-term trend is bullish. Currently, after a high surge and pullback, opening a position at 2500 is not cost-effective. Prefer to wait for a pullback to support or confirmation of an upward breakout before acting.
Linked with $BTC, if BTC weakens, ETH's pullback will be larger, strictly control leverage positions.

#美国核心PCE持平上月,沃什杰克逊霍尔讲话如何定调?
The Federal Reserve's key inflation indicator, core PCE, was released, showing data basically flat compared to last month, highlighting persistent inflation without a clear decline. Expectations for a rate hike in September have slightly increased, and the market's full focus has shifted to the Jackson Hole speech by Waller.
The data is not extremely overheated but also does not provide conclusive evidence of inflation improvement, effectively leaving the challenge to the central bank's annual meeting.
Optimistic expectations hope the speech will signal a dovish tone, confirming that high interest rates are nearing an end; the risk is that if the speech emphasizes stubborn inflation, it will reactivate the rate hike narrative, causing U.S. Treasury yields to rise and directly suppress risk assets.
Personal view: PCE is just a prelude; the real short-term market direction will be decided by the wording of Friday's speech.
Currently, the crypto market is in an extreme greed zone with high leveraged positions. Whether the tone is hawkish or dovish, it tends to amplify volatility. Even if no rate hike is announced, as long as the option to tighten further is retained, it will trigger a market pullback; conversely, signaling a slowdown in tightening will help BTC and ETH continue to rally.
In practice, do not heavily bet on the speech outcome in advance; it is recommended to stay on the sidelines. Holding spot base positions is fine, but leverage in contracts must be reduced, with close attention to the synchronized reaction of U.S. Treasury yields and the dollar. Before the speech, avoid chasing high-risk news-driven moves.

Jiang Zhuoer said ETH is the engine of this round; I only agree halfway. Many people get excited when they see Jiang Zhuoer's numbers: I have no objection to the data, but the word "engine" feels premature.
My view is a bit more complicated:
ETH is the "beneficiary with the highest marginal capital sensitivity" in this wave, not an independently igniting engine.
There are three reasons:
1. ETH's market cap is smaller than BTC's. With the same $700 million poured in, the price elasticity is naturally greater. This is math, not narrative;
2. This round of ETF inflows includes both BTC and ETH together, with a combined $2.6 billion in a single week hitting a 10-month high. BTC remains the main institutional entry point, while ETH is the "overflow allocation";
3. To truly make ETH the engine, we need to see continuous on-chain growth in RWA, stablecoin settlements, and tokenized government bonds, not just ETF buying—Jiang Zhuoer mentioned the CLARITY Act and US Treasury on-chain as a long-term logic, but that is still in expectations.
So my stance:
Short-term ETH/BTC strengthening is real, and ETH leading BTC mid-term is also possible, but the conclusion that "this bull market is driven by ETH" should at least wait until ETH spot ETFs have net inflows for 4 consecutive weeks and on-chain fees return to bull market levels before declining.
The current state is more like: BTC has broken the door open, and ETH is taking the opportunity to squeeze to the front for a photo. Does your portfolio have more than 50% ETH this round?

The Fear and Greed Index surged to 74, the highest since the crash in October 2025! Are you panicking?
On August 12, the index was still at 27 (Fear).
In less than two weeks, it jumped straight to 74 (Greed).
On Wednesday, it slightly pulled back to 65, but the level almost coincides with October 5 last year—
And on the 5th day after that, the entire network saw about $19 billion in leverage liquidations in a single day.
BTC rallied from below 68,000 to nearly 80,000 within a week.
DOGE rose 24% weekly, Thinking Cat +131%, Cash Cat +113%.
Low-liquidity meme coins took off first, indicating retail investors' risk appetite is back, and leverage is quietly building up.
I'm not bearish; this trend is indeed strong.
But history tells us: the index is not a buy or sell alarm; it’s a "crowding thermometer."
74 doesn’t mean a drop tomorrow, it just means the cost-benefit ratio of chasing further is worsening.
What I’m doing now:
1) Not maxing out leverage to follow the crowd.
2) Taking profits in batches and keeping a base position to watch the show

#Anthropic估算30万亿美元市场,IPO叙事能否兑现?
Anthropic is sprinting toward the largest IPO in history, presenting investors with a potential market size of $30 trillion and targeting a valuation of $2 trillion, challenging the record set by SpaceX. However, this figure accounts for the entire future economic value of AI replacing cognitive labor, not actual revenue expectations.
The optimistic logic is straightforward: large models will penetrate all industries, the imagination space for AI replacing cognitive labor is vast, company revenues will grow rapidly, and the deployment of the next-generation models is expected to further raise the ceiling, attracting venture capital to bet on long-term AI dividends.
Personal view: grand narratives do not equal performance fulfillment; the $30 trillion figure is more a storytelling tool for the IPO.
The practical constraints are very clear: intense industry competition, high computing costs, and high regulatory policy uncertainty. Even though the total market space is huge, Anthropic cannot capture the entire market. The secondary market's tolerance for ultra-high valuations is declining, and once financial reports fall short of expectations, valuations will face sharp corrections.
Mapping to the crypto market, the AI giant's IPO will drive sentiment across the entire AI sector, benefiting AI concept tokens, but it is important to distinguish between short-term speculation and real fundamentals. Do not blindly chase prices based solely on the IPO theme; focus on the revenue and gross profit data in the prospectus.
Key points for follow-up observation: financial details disclosed after the official prospectus release, institutional subscription enthusiasm, and the commercialization status of new models.

ETH Market Status
Current price 2440, briefly dipped to 2414 then quickly recovered, indicating a shakeout pin during an uptrend. The long-term bullish structure remains intact, but short-term momentum has weakened, entering a range-bound battle with intensified bulls and bears contention.
Key levels:
Support: 2410-2414 (this dip low); strong support at 2380
Resistance: 2480-2500; previous high 2540-2550
Trading Strategy (Contracts)
Long strategy (trend-following primarily)
Do not chase longs at the current price.
1. Conservative: Wait for a pullback to 2410-2420 range, enter light long positions after a 15-minute candle shows a stop in the decline; stop loss below 2375; first target 2480-2500, break above targets 2540.
2. Aggressive: Only consider small long entries if volume confirms a stable break above 2480; stop loss at 2440.
Short strategy (only short on rebounds under pressure, not trend reversals)
If price rebounds to 2480-2500 and stalls with a long upper wick, small short positions can be tried; stop loss at 2525; target 2430-2415.
If price breaks above 2500 directly, exit shorts immediately; do not hold through.
Personal bias
Still bullish on the higher timeframe, but short-term is range-bound and shaking out. Current price level is average in cost-effectiveness; prefer to wait for pullback to support before entering to reduce choppy trades.
If BTC weakens, ETH’s correction will intensify; must watch BTC and ETH together. $ETH
