OKX to migrate USDⓢ spot trading pairs

Published on 10 Sept 20263 min read

Dear OKX users,

To consolidate spot market liquidity, OKX will replace selected USDⓈ trading pairs with their corresponding USDC pairs, where available. The new pairs will be listed as Crypto-USDC on 23 September 2026. When the affected USDⓈ pairs are delisted on 30 September 2026, the corresponding USDC pairs will be displayed as Crypto-USDⓈ. USDT-USDⓈ is not affected, and no action is required for this pair.

Key dates

  • 23 September 2026, 6:00 pm (AEST): The corresponding USDC pairs are listed, displayed as Crypto-USDC. Both pairs trade in parallel from this point, allowing you to move your trading activity across in advance. The USDC pairs support trade with USDC, USDG, and RLUSD.

  • 30 September 2026, 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm (AEST): Trading bots using the affected USDⓢ pairs will gradually close. We recommend stopping them manually before 5:00 pm.

  • 30 September 2026, 6:00 pm (AEST):

    • The affected USDⓢ pairs are delisted;

    • All open orders on the affected pairs will be automatically cancelled;

    • Strategy orders, trading bots, and API programs using the affected USDⓢ pairs will no longer be able to place orders;

    • The corresponding USDC pairs will be renamed and displayed as Crypto-USDⓢ.

Trading pair display update

After the USDⓢ pairs are delisted, the relevant USDC pairs will be displayed as Crypto-USDⓢ on the OKX web and app interfaces. For example, BTC-USDC will be displayed as BTC-USDⓢ. This is a display-name change only. Trading will continue to be supported by the corresponding USDC pairs.

API Impact

Requests that currently use a Crypto-USD instrument ID must use the corresponding Crypto-USDC instrument ID after the change goes live. If you currently trade a Crypto-USD instrument without specifying tradeQuoteCcy and want to continue trading with USD after migrating to the corresponding Crypto-USDC instrument, you must explicitly set tradeQuoteCcy to USD. For more details, refer to the API Changelog.
