PANews 6月5日消息，据官方博客，稳定币发行商Tether宣布战略投资非洲区块链金融平台Shiga Digital，具体金额未披露。该合作旨在通过USDT稳定币为非洲企业提供跨境支付、外汇管理等链上金融服务，重点覆盖石油天然气等传统行业及自由职业者的国际结算需求。

Shiga Digital提供虚拟账户、场外交易等定制化服务，其正在开发的链上网关将支持用户直接使用USDT进行日常交易，无需兑换本地货币。Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino表示，此次合作将推动区块链技术成为非洲金融基础设施的核心组件。
