About JeonbukBankAdoptsRipple

Ripple reportedly partnered with South Korea's Jeonbuk Bank to use Ripple Payments for near-real-time corporate cross-border settlement, making it Korea's first regional bank to adopt it. This is Ripple's third Korean institutional deal this year, after KBank and Kyobo Life work on custody and stablecoin payments. Disclosures do not specify XRP, stablecoins or fiat, nor the scale or launch date. Will deeper bank adoption create XRP liquidity demand, or will stablecoins capture settlement flows?

Ripple has partnered with Jeonbuk Bank, making it the first regional bank in Korea to deploy Ripple Payments for cross-border remittances. Near real-time settlement in seconds to minutes, 24/7. This could accelerate institutional adoption of blockchain-based payments across Korea.

Jeonbuk Bank’s reported move to use Ripple Payments for near-real-time corporate cross-border settlement is more significant as a test of institutional payment infrastructure than as a direct XRP signal. It would be Korea’s first regional-bank adoption and Ripple’s third Korean institutional deal this year, following work with KBank and Kyobo Life across custody and stablecoin payments. The measured read: distribution is broadening, but token demand remains unproven. Until disclosures identify the settlement asset, launch timing and transaction scale, stablecoins or fiat could capture the flows without creating meaningful XRP liquidity demand. Not advice, just analysis. #JeonbukBankAdoptsRipple

First regional bank in Korea using Ripple/XRP Payments. Real traffic, realtime. Not hype or shill. This is the framework, it's being rolled out. As it ramps up you will see XRP utility skyrocket, and the need for liquidity in the corridors expand exponentially, hopefully pulling price up with it.

➥ why 2026 is the Year Crypto Becomes Invisible crypto is moving from a sector people trade, to infra people use without noticing that matters because the strongest products from here won’t win by showing users more chains, bridges, wallets, gas, or technical design they win by solving real financial problems better than the old system the areas i’m watching: → stablecoin payments: @circle USDC, @PayPal PYUSD, @stripe, @Plasma One → tokenized yield / RWAs: @OndoFinance, BlackRock BUIDL, Securitize, @centrifuge, @maplefinance, @SuperstateInc → DeFi trading: @HyperliquidX, @JupiterExchange, @Uniswap, @matchaxyz → prediction markets: @Polymarket, @Kalshi, @42space, @Novig → consumer crypto apps: @BasedOneX, Coinbase Smart Wallet, @privy_io, @Rabby_io, @phantom, @Backpack → agentic payments: x402, Coinbase CDP, Stripe, AWS AgentCore Payments → launch / asset infra: @ponsdotfamily, @Pumpfun, @clanker_world, @virtuals_io, @BioProtocol this is where i think most people still underestimate the market, they look for the next viral narrative i’m looking for the next product where blockchain reduces cost, settlement time, counterparty friction, or access barriers that is the finance angle crypto does not need every user to understand the backend, nor care how settlement works they care if the product is faster, cheaper, more liquid, or easier to access that is why invisible crypto matters - stablecoin payment app needs to move money across borders faster - tokenized treasury product needs to give institutions better cash management - DeFi perp venue needs to offer 24/7 liquidity and better market access - AI agent needs programmable money, wallets, spending limits, and payment rails this is where x402 becomes interesting it lets APIs, apps, and agents pay with stablecoins directly over HTTP, turning crypto into a payment layer for software itself the next major winners may not look like crypto companies they may look like payment apps, trading venues, data markets, credit platforms, AI products, or consumer fintech apps but under the hood, crypto will be the settlement layer i think that is the real adoption cycle: - less chain talk & more product usage - less speculation-only demand & more financial utility – less visible crypto & more invisible infra the market will still trade narratives the bigger opportunity is finding protocols that make crypto disappear into products people already want to use

what is becoming the stablecoin of choice for ai agents? is there a clear winner forming? has there been any indication agents care about decentralization at all?

B2B stablecoin payments ran near $226b annualized in 2025, up several hundred percent YoY, and account for roughly 60% of what @McKinsey and @artemis classify as real stablecoin payment activity. Total real payments annualized near $390b off December 2025 volume. This is different from the headline transfer number, which is an order of magnitude larger and mostly exchange settlement and trading flow. IMO the B2B cut is the most useful of the payment categories to track, given the TAM. Those flows are harder to start and harder to stop"
