Check where the main force dropped by looking at the planet spitting on me. Without your daddy, I entered the market to short, and the main force plummeted on the day of unlocking. You making money isn't because you're awesome, but because your small amount of funds simply can't affect the main force.
I've been doing T trades, and at one minute past midnight, the trading volume hit 70 million, almost blowing up my position. In the past, I thought the main force wouldn't specifically target this little money, but in a bear market with liquidity dried up, both big and small get eaten, no one can escape. From now on, I'll only trade mainstream and US stocks, damn it.

I was bearish down to 1.67 but didn’t make money on this move.
BEAT finally dropped to 1.60.
This level is exactly the key target area I have been focusing on. I had publicly expressed a bearish view and believed that token unlocking, cooling market sentiment, and weakening technicals would keep BEAT under pressure.
Unfortunately, the price reached there, but I was out of position.
Before the real drop, a rapid spike wiped out all my short positions. My large short position cost was around 4.9 and was eventually liquidated. After that, the market started to fall steadily, from above $4 down to the current $1.6.
I got the direction right.
I lost to the market on timing.
This trade reminded me again that trading is never about who predicts more accurately, but who can hold on until the outcome appears.
The market won’t make you money just because your logic is correct. Position management, leverage control, and risk tolerance also determine the final result.
Although I missed this wave of profits, I do not regret sticking to my analysis logic. Every trade is tuition, and every failure makes the trading system more mature.
The biggest irony in the market is not predicting wrong, but predicting right and failing to hold on until the answer is revealed.

BEAT Short-Term: Why Do I Continue to Be Bearish?
Many people have turned bullish after seeing BEAT climb back above $3.8, but I still maintain a bearish bias.
First, from the news perspective, on August 1st, about 21.25 million BEAT tokens will be unlocked, accounting for approximately 6.9% of the current circulating supply, valued at over $70 million. Unlocking does not necessarily mean immediate selling, but the increase in circulating supply often adds market pressure, which can easily lead to selling pressure when sentiment is overheated.
Second, from the 4-hour candlestick chart, BEAT quickly rebounded from 2.45 to around 3.9, with a significant short-term gain. It is currently entering a previous dense trading zone. The 15-minute chart also shows that after multiple attempts near 3.9, upward momentum is starting to slow. Without new positive catalysts, the probability of profit-taking is rising.
Additionally, public information shows that BEAT was previously favored by funds due to concepts like AI and GameFi, causing a sharp rise in a short period. Such high-volatility assets tend to experience significant price pullbacks when sentiment cools or supply increases.
Therefore, I still choose to stick with a bearish outlook. I am not bearish on the project's long-term development but believe that short-term risks outweigh rewards. If selling pressure from the unlock is released and key supports are broken, I will continue to watch for lower target zones.
