Community Feedback Program — Terms & Conditions (EEA)
1. About the program
The Community Feedback Program ("Program", "CFP") invites members of OKX's EEA community to help improve the quality of OKX's local-language experience across the app, website, chatbot, and evergreen support/Academy content. Each market cycle runs in that market's local language (e.g. German for Germany); the Program may run in one or more EEA markets depending on the announcement for each cycle.The program dates, participating market(s), and participation conditions are limited to the dates and conditions specified in the announcement related to each cycle.
2. Eligibility & cohort
Participation is limited to a selected cohort of 5-6 participants per cycle, per market: 2 "novice" + 2 "experienced" members [configurable].
Novice profile: not yet an OKX customer, or registered but not yet KYC-verified; based in the relevant EEA market; fluent in the local language with working English; interested in crypto.
Experienced profile: an active OKX trader using the local-language interface; based in the relevant EEA market; fluent in the local language and English; has prior feedback experience.
Candidates are recruited from OKX's existing community channel(s) for the relevant EEA market and complete a registration form providing the profile details above and their explicit consent to data processing (see Section 8).
Where at least two qualified candidates exist per segment, participants are selected at random from the qualified pool; remaining qualified candidates are held on a reserve/waitlist. The cohort may be expanded in later cycles.
Cohorts rotate quarterly: outgoing participants exit the Program and new participants are drawn from the reserve list.
Any cheating, use of fake accounts, or unethical behavior will result in disqualification from the Program and cancellation of any rewards.
By registering, participants are considered to have read and accepted these conditions. Please read all conditions carefully and confirm you meet the participant profile shared in the relevant announcement before joining.
3. Onboarding
Before a cycle opens, selected participants receive:
A local-language briefing on what counts as valid feedback and how to submit it;
Access to the localized (local-language) submission form; and
Training on the five valid feedback categories (Section 4) and the required submission format.
Participation in a cycle begins once onboarding is acknowledged and form access is granted.
4. What to submit
Participants are expected to submit feedback on linguistic/localization issues found in the OKX app, website, chatbot, and articles (including Support Center and Academy pages).Valid feedback categories are:
Untranslated Content — content that still appears in English (or another language other than the market's local language).
Incorrect Translation — a translation that is misleading or does not accurately reflect the meaning of the source text.
Incorrect Terminology — use of the wrong or inconsistent term, causing confusion.
Layout/Format Issues — content is cut off, overlapping, or otherwise broken due to the interface.
Other Language-Related Issues — awkward, unnatural, or non-fluent phrasing not covered above.
General product feedback that isn't a localization issue may still be noted, and — while it doesn't need its own category — it is still logged and routed to the relevant product team as a secondary output; it also counts toward a participant's valid-submission count if confirmed as a genuine, actionable insight.
5. How to submit
Each submission is made via the localized feedback form (in the market's local language) and must include:
Platform: App, Web, Chatbot, or Article (exactly one);
Link/URL where applicable;
Screenshot of the issue (required);
Issue Category: exactly one of the five categories above; and
Description: a free-text explanation of the issue and, where relevant, a suggested correction (in the local language).
Participants may submit any number of items per cycle; each submission creates one record in the feedback tracker. Submissions missing a required field (e.g. no screenshot or no category selected) will be blocked until completed.
6. Review & validation
Each submission is reviewed by OKX's Language Manager for the relevant market ("LM") and marked Valid or Invalid:
Valid: matches one of the five categories, is reproducible, and is not a duplicate of a previously logged or known-invalid item. Valid localization issues are routed to the localization fix queue; incidental product insights are routed to the relevant product channel as a secondary output.
Invalid: tagged with a reason (e.g. duplicate, not reproducible, out of scope) and retained to help identify duplicates in future cycles.
Only Valid submissions count toward rewards.
7. Rewards
Participants are rewarded in USDC based on the number of Valid submissions accumulated during the cycle:Click the image to view the sheet.
Maximum reward per participant per cycle: 100 USDC.
All rewarded participants also receive public thanks in the community channel.
Payout eligibility: participants must hold a KYC-verified OKX account to receive their reward. A non-KYC'd novice participant must complete KYC before payout. If KYC is not completed within 30 days [configurable] of cycle close, the reward will be held and may be forfeited, in line with these Terms.
Rewards are disbursed within a set period after cycle close, once validity has been confirmed and reconciled against the tracker.
Announcements and cycle updates will be communicated to participants via email/Telegram and, where relevant, official social channels.
8. Data protection (GDPR)
Your registration and any submissions you make under this Program are processed by OKX Europe Limited in accordance with the Privacy Notice EEA.
Registering for the Program requires your acknowledgment and consent to the processing of your registration profile and submissions for the purposes of running the Program (recruitment, cohort selection, validation, and reward disbursement). This is a Program-specific consent captured at registration, separate from — but consistent with — the legal bases described in the Privacy Notice.
Where any part of the Program's processing relies on consent as its legal basis (for example, biometric identity verification during KYC, or non-essential cookies on the submission form, if used), the applicable basis is set out in Section 5 (Legal Basis for Processing), Section 11 (Identity Verification and Biometric Data), and Section 16 (Cookie Policy) of the Privacy Notice.
You may withdraw consent at any time as described in Section 15 (Consent Withdrawal) of the Privacy Notice. Withdrawing consent relevant to KYC may affect your eligibility to receive a reward (see Section 7).
Personal data collected for this Program will be retained only for as long as needed to run the Program and will be deleted [90 days — configurable] after a participant exits the Program, consistent with the retention principles in Section 12 (Data Retention) of the Privacy Notice.
No unnecessary cross-border transfer of personal data will take place; where a transfer is required, it will occur on the basis described in Section 10 (International Data Transfers) of the Privacy Notice.
By registering, you confirm you have read and understood the Privacy Notice EEA, and you consent to the processing described above and in that Notice.
9. Tax & disclosures
Rewards may constitute taxable income for the recipient depending on their personal circumstances and country of tax residence. Participants are solely responsible for determining and meeting any tax obligations arising from rewards received under this Program.
This Program is offered by the OKX Europe entity serving participants in the EEA. Eligibility to participate is limited to residents of the EEA market(s) named in the relevant cycle announcement.
