These Terms and Conditions govern the Buy Streak promotional campaign. By opting into this campaign, you agree to these specific rules along with the platform's general User Agreement.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and meet the following criteria:

  • Verification Status: You must be a KYC-verified retail user residing in eligible states within the United States. Residents of New York, Texas, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and the US Virgin Islands are not eligible to participate.

  • Platform Restriction: Participation is limited to the Mobile App only; web-based transactions do not qualify.

  • Exclusions: This offer is not available to institutional (KYB) accounts and risk-flagged users, as determined and verified in OKX's sole discretion. This campaign may exclude certain user groups, and not all users who see the campaign in their app may be eligible to participate.

  • Multiple Buy Streaks: If a user is enrolled in a buy streak campaign, the user will not be able to participate in other buy streaks. A user is only allowed to participate in one buy streak at a time.

Campaign Period and Key Deadlines

The campaign operates within two distinct windows to ensure all participants have a fair opportunity to complete their streaks:

  • Enrollment Window: Users must enroll into the campaign by 11:59 PM US Pacific Time (PT) on the date specified on the campaign page in app.

  • Completion Window: Users have an additional four days from the end of the enrollment period to complete all of the daily purchases required for the streak campaign.

  • Daily Purchase Window: Users must complete their purchase every day by 11:59 PM PT.

Reward Structure and Qualified Buy Rules

Eligible participants can earn rewards up to the amount specified on the campaign landing page through a two-tiered system:

  • Base Reward: Upon enrolling for the campaign and completing an eligible purchase or purchases exceeding the threshold specified on the campaign page, users will receive the first day bonus.

  • Streak Reward: After completing five consecutive days of purchases within the eligible time windows, users will receive a second reward as specified on the campaign page.

A "Qualified Purchase" is strictly defined as follows:

  • Order Type: Must be a One-time Buy or Recurring Buy using ACH, Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or existing USD/stablecoin balances.

  • Excluded Transactions: Spot trading and Convert features are excluded and will not count toward any reward.

  • Asset Type:

    • Must be a non-stablecoin asset (e.g., BTC, ETH). Buys of stablecoin tokens including, but not limited to, USDT, USDC, USDG, PYUSD or USAT are excluded.

    • DEX tokens are not considered eligible assets for this campaign.

    • Some streak campaigns may have additional exclusions as noted on the campaign page.

  • Minimum Value: Users may make one purchase exceeding the threshold or multiple smaller purchases of eligible tokens in order to qualify for rewards or continue their streak.

  • Timing: Only buys completed after opting in to the campaign will be tracked.

Streak Logic and "Reset to Day 2" Rule

The campaign uses a behavioral design choice to encourage completion while minimizing user frustration:

  • Daily Tracking: Users may make one qualified purchase or the qualified sum of multiple purchases per calendar day (defined as by 11:59 PM US Pacific Time) in order to continue the streak.

  • Breaking the Streak: If you miss a day after completing your first day of purchases, your progress will not reset to zero.

  • Reset Mechanics: Because your Base Reward is secured on Day 1, a missed day resets your progress to Day 2. You would then need 4 more successful daily buys to reach the 5-day milestone.

Edge Cases and Participation Risks

  • Late Enrollment Risk: You must enroll by the last eligible campaign enrollment window. Note that if you enroll on the last day, you must also complete your Day 1 buy on the same day, otherwise you will not have enough time to complete your streak.

  • Insufficient Remaining Time: If you break your streak late in the campaign (for example, missing a buy on the second to last day of the Completion Window), you will be unable to earn the Streak Reward.

  • Fast Sell Rule: To prevent incentive abuse, a buy will be disqualified if you sell or convert the asset within 10 minutes of the transaction settling. We reserve the right to claw back rewards for users who abuse this mechanism.

  • Payment Reversals: If a qualifying transaction is reversed (e.g., ACH failure) before rewards are issued, that day’s progress is invalidated. If a reversal occurs after issuance but before the lock period ends, the reward will be clawed back.

Reward Issuance and 60-Day Lock

  • Risk Checks: All rewards are subject to internal risk reviews at three stages: enrollment, issuance, and unlocking. If the risk review flags a user, the reward will not be issued. Likewise, a flagged user may not be able to join the campaign or continue making streak-qualified purchases.

  • Distribution: Rewards are typically issued shortly after milestone completion but may be locked for a period of time after issuance. The lock-up period will be specified on the campaign page. Some streak campaigns will distribute rewards that are tradable immediately but non-withdrawable. Users are responsible for checking the campaign page and FAQ for details.

General Terms

  • This campaign is being offered by OKX INC. ("OKX").

  • For the avoidance of doubt, users from the following countries or regions (subject to verification information) may not be eligible to participate in this campaign: please refer to clause 2.2 of OKX's Terms of Service.

  • This activity is not (i) investment advice or an investment recommendation; (ii) an offer or solicitation, buy or sell crypto/digital assets; or (iii) financial, accounting, legal or tax advice.   • Please note that the value of the reward may fluctuate and may not be equal in value at the time a recipient has the ability to withdraw based on market fluctuation. Prices of crypto/digital assets, including stablecoins, can and do fluctuate at any moment. Due to such price fluctuations, you may increase or lose value in your assets at any given moment.

  • Customers must pass or have previously passed OKX’s advanced identity verification.

  • This promotion is on a first-come, first-served basis, and a maximum of 1500 eligible participants will each receive the Reward.

  • Limit one (1) Reward per recipient. Sub-accounts will not be eligible to participate or receive any rewards.

  • Modification and Termination: OKX reserves the right to exclude any participant and to cancel or amend this campaign or its rules at any time without prior notice.

  • Fraud Prevention: Users who engage in dishonest or abusive activities will be disqualified.

  • Any and all applicable taxes and all fees and additional expenses, including connection, installation, and/or service costs, related to acceptance and use of Reward are the sole responsibility of the individual Reward recipient.

  • Rewards will be locked-up for 60 days and become eligible for withdrawal once the lock-up period expires. During this lock-up period, Customers cannot withdraw Rewards (or equivalent) from their OKX accounts. If your OKX account is closed for any reason during the 60-day lock-up period, the Reward is deemed canceled in full.

  • OKX reserves the right to interpret the terms and conditions of this promotion as it sees fit. It reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, exclude any participants from this promotion, and/or cancel this promotion without notice.
