About TokenizedStocks24/7

On Sep 22 local time, CFTC Chair Michael Selig said markets should prepare for large-scale tokenization, onchain finance and 24/7 trading, noting crypto and precious metals may suit continuous trading while rules should vary by asset. On Sep 23, the NYSE partnered with a digital asset platform to explore tokenized US stocks and ETFs through a planned system and study 24/7/365 trading. Products, regulations and timing remain undisclosed. Focus extends to trading hours, settlement and collateral.

there’s a sneaky narrative forming TOKENIZATION not sexy enough for CT yet but imagine trillions in stocks, bonds, treasuries and private assets eventually living onchain the moment that happens, blockchain stops being “crypto infrastructure” it becomes normal financial infrastructure and the people using it probably won’t even care they’ll just see faster settlement 24/7 access instant transfers more things to borrow against that’s how adoption probably looks not everyone buying ETH and posting laser eyes just everyone using the rails

On Tuesday, I joined @BitcoinConner for a fireside chat at @bitcoinpolicy’s Freedom Tech DC summit to share my policy prescriptions for prosperity in the age of Digital Assets and Digital Intelligence. Individuals and companies need a bill of digital rights, not a bill of restrictions. I believe regulators are better positioned than Congress to advance those rights. 02:24 - Digital assets taxonomy and the path from $3T to $100T 03:03 - Digital tokens, capital formation, and 10 million new companies 05:46 - Digital currency rights: stablecoins, yield, and competition 08:07 - Bitcoin as Digital Capital: bank custody, credit, and fair rules 11:25 - $1.6T of unbanked Bitcoin capital and why bank adoption matters 12:59 - Tokenized securities, self-custody, and competitive credit 15:59 - Clarity as a bill of restrictions vs. a bill of rights 18:43 - The next 24 months: CFTC, SEC, Treasury, and White House leadership 27:14 - AI agents, 24/7 markets, and 20th-century financial rails 32:03 - Why AI agents need pure digital money and digital assets

🏦 WALL STREET IS MOVING DEEPER INTO TOKENIZED STOCKS. The New York Stock Exchange and Blockchain.com have announced a partnership focused on tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs. The proposed system could support 24/7 trading, fractional ownership and stablecoin funding. The service still requires regulatory approval.$BTC

#TokenizedStocks24/7 The SEC’s Innovation Exemption has opened a temporary path for certain tokenized U.S. stocks to trade on permissioned blockchain venues. The framework could eventually support near-continuous trading, automated liquidity pools and faster settlement across time zones. The opportunity is large because tokenization connects crypto infrastructure with traditional capital markets. However, the exemption remains conditional and limited, and companies still need to address custody, corporate actions, investor protection and market surveillance. My view is that 24/7 tokenized stock trading is technically possible, but its success depends on regulated settlement and deep liquidity. Around-the-clock access may also increase volatility if risk controls are weak.

Tokenized stocks could change how investors access traditional markets. 24/7 trading, blockchain settlement and global accessibility create a very different market structure. But liquidity, regulation and investor protection still matter. Would you trade tokenized stocks 24/7 if your platform offered them? #TokenizedStocks247 #CryptoMarket #BTCPullbackAltRotation #USIranRiskPremium #CostcoQ4EarningsWatch

#TokenizedStocks24/7 Wall Street's clock may be the next thing blockchain breaks 👀 The CFTC is preparing for large-scale tokenization, while NYSE is exploring tokenized US stocks, ETFs and 24/7/365 trading. What caught my attention is this goes beyond putting stocks onchain. Continuous markets could reshape settlement, collateral and how investors react to news outside US hours. Crypto proved markets don't need to sleep. Traditional finance is starting to ask why they should.

Wall Street is learning crypto’s favorite word: 24/7. The NYSE and Blockchain.com signed an MOU today to explore bringing tokenized NYSE-listed stocks and ETFs to 44M+ accounts through the NYSE’s planned digital venue. The bigger shift: NYSE/ICE market data would flow into crypto rails, while crypto analytics move the other way. Two financial worlds are starting to share the same plumbing.

NYSE has reportedly signed a deal with Blockchain.com to bring tokenized US stocks to the platform's crypto user base, potentially reaching as many as 44 million accounts. If confirmed, the move could mark one of the largest distribution channels yet for tokenized equities, extending Wall Street's blockchain push beyond institutional partners like Securitize into retail crypto wallets used across emerging and developed markets worldwide. $BTC
