OKX Card cashback program FAQ

What cashback do I earn on an ongoing basis?
This rate takes effect from 1 March 2026.
All cashback cap calculations are based on Central European Time (CET, GMT+1), regardless of the user’s local time zone. Refer to the table below for the rate:

Cashback is earned only on USDG purchases made with your OKX Card and will be credited in USDG to your Pay account. Please ensure your card is funded with USDG to qualify.
Notes:
Cashback cap is the maximum cashback amount that can be earned within the applicable cap period shown in the OKX app.
Purchase cap is the maximum purchase volume that can be counted toward cashback within the applicable cap period shown in the OKX app.
If a value is not listed for a tier (for example, a missing purchase cap), refer to the OKX app for the applicable limit details.
If a purchase that earned cashback is later refunded, the associated cashback reward will be clawed back from your Pay account.
Why might I not receive cashback on a transaction?
Even if I’m eligible for cashback, a specific transaction may not earn cashback if:
The transaction falls under an excluded merchant category (MCC)
I’ve reached the applicable cashback cap and/or purchase cap for my tier
The transaction does not meet the current cashback eligibility rules shown in the OKX app
Because eligibility and limits can change, you should treat the OKX app as the source of truth.
How is the cashback cap calculated for core cashback?
The cashback cap is calculated on a calendar-month basis. Once you reach the monthly cashback cap, you’ll stop earning cashback for the rest of that month. The cap resets at the start of each new calendar month.
Which purchases are eligible for cashback?
All USDG payments are eligible, except for the categories listed below.

Some merchants, even if they belong to everyday retail or dining categories, may not be eligible for cashback if their acquiring bank has classified them under a non-cashback category. Merchant categories are determined by the acquiring bank based on the merchant's registered information, and OKX has no ability to intervene.
What form of cashback do I receive, and when will I get it?
The cashback reward is first calculated in local currency (e.g. EUR), then converted to USDG for payout into your Pay account. Both amounts must reach at least 0.01 — if either falls below 0.01, no cashback will be issued for that transaction.
Once a purchase settles (as triggered by the merchant), you’ll receive your cashback within 72 hours.
Can core cashback stack with promotional cashback?
No. Cashback rewards don't stack. If a promotion is active, the promotional cashback applies instead of core cashback.
How do I become a VIP user?
VIP status is determined by your activity or assets on our platform, including factors such as account balance and trading volume. You can view your VIP level here and learn how to upgrade directly in the OKX app.
What should I do if I think my cashback is missing?
If I believe a transaction should have qualified, you should reach out to OKX Assistant and provide:
merchant name
date/time
amount and currency
whether the purchase was online or in-store
