Why can’t I receive cryptocurrency to top up my Pay account?

If you can’t receive cryptocurrency to fund (top up) my Pay account, it usually means your account isn’t ready for that action or the asset/region flow you're using isn’t supported in your current setup.

What should I check first?

In the OKX app, you should confirm:

  • Your identity verification is completed

  • Pay is fully set up and active

  • You're in an eligible European Economic Area (EEA) region (availability and features can vary by country)

Is the asset I’m using supported?

OKX Card spending in the EEA is designed around supported stablecoins held in Pay, currently USDC and USDG. Other cryptoassets aren't supported by this flow.

What should I do next?

You should check the app for any prompts or status messages related to Pay setup or verification. If everything looks correct and you still can’t receive funds, you should reach out to our OKX Assistant and share:

  • Which asset you tried to receive

  • What you saw in the app
