OKX is offering a 150000 WLD prize pool for traders in Emerging Markets. From July 24 to August 14, you have a chance to claim your reward from the prize pool of 150000 $WLD. This Trading Competition ties a shared prize pool to the community's combined trading activity — the more everyone trades together, the bigger the pool gets for everyone who qualifies.
Here's how the mechanics actually work.
The core idea: a pool that grows with the crowd
Instead of everyone competing for a fixed prize, this campaign uses a Volume Share Pool. The total prize pool starts locked and unlocks in stages as the combined spot and futures trading volume of all qualified participants climbs during the campaign.

Only the highest tier reached pays out — tiers don't stack. If the community collectively trades 75M USDT in volume, the 70M tier is what unlocks, putting 25000 WLD into the pool. If the full 300M USDT tier is hit, the entire 150000 WLD prize pool unlocks.
How your share is calculated
Once you're qualified, your slice of the unlocked pool is based on how much of the total qualified volume you personally contributed:Your reward = the lesser of:
(Your trading volume ÷ total volume of all qualified users) × unlocked pool size
9000 WLD (the hard cap per user)
In plain terms: trade more relative to everyone else, and your share grows — up to a ceiling of 9,000 WLD per person.

Trade at least 1500 USDT combined across spot and futures on eligible crypto pairs during the campaign period.
What counts (and what doesn't)
Both buy and sell volume count, calculated two-sided.
API trading volume counts toward your total.
Zero-fee and negative-fee trades are excluded.
Volume from Simple Buy or Convert doesn't count.
Trades made using other OKX perks (rebate cards, contract vouchers, fee waivers, etc.) don't count.
Only your main account counts — sub-account activity isn't included.
When you get paid
Rewards are distributed in $WLD within 14 days of the campaign ending. If the maximum 150000 WLD pool is fully claimed before the scheduled end date, the campaign can close early, with final rewards calculated on the data collected up to that point.
Why this mechanic is different
Most trading competitions turn traders against each other — leaderboard-style, winner-take-most. The Volume Share Pool flips that: everyone's trading contributes to a shared outcome, and your reward is proportional to your contribution rather than your rank. It rewards consistent participation across the whole community rather than a handful of high-volume traders taking most of the pool.
