$DXY $DXY The dollar index, and the no-change policy. So, the fed, given the dropping inflation and the general policy's stance has now started to show tendancy to again have NO-CHANGE in interest rates in the next meeting that will be held a month from now. We started tracking this on 7th July, andf back then, the meeting to be held on 16th Sept had 60% chances of a hike and then on 22nd July then hike chances went as high as 70%. But now, given the dropping inflation and cooling off of the job market, we are seeing that numer drop to below 40%. I understand that the hike is a big deal as this will be the first hike in over 13 quarters, so they are being very careful with when and how much they should hike, but imo they are delaying it too much. Specially when Japan is hiking potentially in the next meeting and the whole yen carry unwind situation. #DXY
