Recently, I've had siblings asking me a question: why are my trades always just a few dozen bucks? And what's the point of sharing profits of just a few dollars? Let me explain my reasons and thoughts.
For me, crypto is more of a hobby than a job. I'm currently interning in real life, and crypto is my interest.
It's like some people's hobby is drinking. If they have money, they might drink Maotai or Wuliangye, while ordinary people might drink Erguotou. My trades of a few dozen bucks are like drinking Erguotou.
I used to make trades worth thousands or tens of thousands, but back then, I was trapped by the profits from those trades. I wasn't enjoying the emotional value that the hobby brought; my emotions were hijacked by the hobby.
It's similar to drinking. I usually drink a bit of Erguotou, which doesn't stress me much, but if I insist on drinking Maotai every meal, it would greatly affect my daily life.
The logic is the same for my trades. I used to play bigger, and I would spend sleepless nights. I felt like I was losing my humanity.
Now, I don't have a stable income. For me, a few dozen bucks is my daily living expense. I could spend a day's living expense on a bottle of wine, but losing dozens of days' wages would hurt.
That's why my trades are relatively small. Although they are small, the joy I get from them is not small. After all, earning a few dozen bucks allows me to buy a small cake.
I'm just an ordinary person. A small cake or a bunch of impractical flowers—many people consider these things trivial, but they can bring temporary joy to me and my family.
If I lose, at least I've gained some joy. Crypto releases emotional fluctuations, and I can provide a better state for my family.
In summary, crypto is more like a mental refuge for me. I enjoy the fun of crypto here, including the deceit and intrigue.
I love crypto and enjoy sharing the fun with everyone. I believe the world is not just about the voices of big figures; the voices of ordinary people are also beautiful.
