This article explains which documents OKX accepts as proof of address, so you can complete your identity verification without delays.

You only need to submit one of the supported documents below. It must show your legal name and current residential address, and it must be complete, clear, official, and unaltered.

Accepted documents

  • Bank or neobank statement or letter — issued within the last 3 months. A document showing both a PO Box and a residential address is accepted, but a PO Box alone isn't.

  • Lease agreement or tenancy contract, including EJARI — it must still be valid, with at least 10 days remaining before it expires. A stamp, seal, or company chop isn't mandatory.

  • Utility bill — issued within the last 3 months. Home internet, non-satellite TV, gas, water, electricity, sewerage, and air-conditioning bills are accepted. Landline telephone bills aren't accepted, and a PO Box alone isn't accepted.

  • Title deed showing property ownership — accepted while your ownership remains valid. There's no fixed issue-date limit.

How do I upload my proof of address?

Upload the original official PDF or a clear image of the complete document. Make sure the name and address match the information you entered during verification.
