After the BG theft incident, I have to review the importance and core of this principle again!
Like walking on thin ice, like standing on the edge of a deep abyss;
I thought for a long time this afternoon, after walking on thin ice for a long time, people mistakenly think the ice has thickened. Past safety gradually becomes the confidence for the next adventure.
This is the place I think we should be most alert: sometimes, the slogans remain, the risks remain, but we have already gotten used to it.
Like walking on thin ice, like standing on the edge of a deep abyss.
Admit that you will always have moments of invisibility and misjudgment, leave room for the unexpected, and let the life accumulated over many years withstand a single mistake.
We are always calculating how much more we can earn in the future, but we should seriously ask ourselves: for those things we do not yet have, how much of what we already cherish and are reluctant to lose are we really willing to exchange?
Don't entrust your future to others, be responsible for yourself!
No your keys, no your coins.
Understand and practice! Understand and practice! Understand and practice!
Important things said three times,
My industry principles: tread carefully as if on thin ice, as if facing an abyss;
Don't rush to make money, don't rush to get rich. In this industry, your opportunities already surpass most other fields. You must believe that as long as you proceed steadily and firmly, you will definitely be wealthier than most people.
All anxiety stems from a lack of confidence in your future self;
The key is to ensure that you don't encounter any problems;
Ensure your health is sound; your funds and investments are secure; your family relationships are stable; your circle of friends is reliable; your principles and bottom lines are intact; your legal boundaries are respected;
Stay close to this circle, but not too close; stay a bit distant from this circle, but not too far;
Making money is a natural thing, like a strong wind blowing in. When your mind is calm and steady, your wealth is stable; when your mind is anxious and scattered, your wealth disperses;
Tread carefully as if on thin ice, as if facing an abyss—make sure to try to understand the meaning of this!
I really like this episode; it's so enlightening!
In Buddhism, the concept of "ignorance" refers to our mistaken belief that there is a stable, independent "self" that can control everything.
So we constantly try to make the world meet our expectations, and when reality deviates, suffering arises.
"No-self" doesn't mean that the self doesn't exist, but rather that this "self" is actually a temporary process composed of countless conditions, experiences, emotions, body, and environment, without an eternal, unchanging core.
Many times, we think we've let go, but in fact, we've just replaced one form of attachment with a more advanced one; true freedom is being able to let go even of the thought "I must let go" in the end.
Grateful to the three teachers for their sharing!

Singapore happens to be hosting 2049 during the National Day holiday. My partner and I decided this year that for industry gatherings that basically conflict with the children's holidays, we will always prioritize the children.
If the children don't want to come along, we respect their wishes and go to places they like.
So this time, we probably won't be attending 2049.
Thanks to many friends for the invitations; I really miss gathering with you all and look forward to the next opportunity to meet!
The boarding school the children chose this year means they are usually not at home, so only weekends and holidays remain for us to spend together, making companionship feel even more precious!
Usually, if you can't reach me on weekends, it's for this reason—I focus on spending time with them on weekends.
Family companionship is also a very important topic, perhaps the most important, related to inner happiness and peace.
I also believe that people who are peaceful, happy, and content inside are more likely to make good investments because without anger, impatience, or anxiety, you have more confidence and luck.
Moreover, I have started to realize that children grow up quickly, and the years when they truly need you and are willing to spend time with you are actually very short.
My understanding of companionship is about priorities—being willing to reorder your own time and priorities to go where they want to go and listen to what they want to say.
In a few years, they will have their own friends, interests, and even their own world, and they might not even want you to accompany them anymore.
So now it feels like many things don’t need to be rushed. Money can be earned later, events can be attended next time, and opportunities to meet people won’t come only once.
But these weekends and holidays with the children in these few years, once gone, really won’t come back.
What truly matters in life may not be much.
