FINISH WORK ON TIME OR STAY AND DEDICATE: WHICH EMPLOYEES ARE TRULY VALUED?
Many famous leaders around the world have shared very different perspectives on whether to leave work on time or to contribute beyond the requirements.
The founder of Hyundai once said: if you work efficiently and fulfill your responsibilities, employees should be allowed to leave on time.
Because the time spent at the company is not the only measure of work value.
You leave when work hours are up, right? No extra pay for overtime, folks?

I've been trading for over ten years, but this is the time I want to give up the most. The monthly revenue has been sluggish, not even reaching 10 million VND.
I already have a house, a car, and I'm raising 3 children. I have 2 savings funds: 1.6 billion VND lent out earning about 13.3 million VND/month and 1.2 billion VND deposited in the bank with an interest rate of 8.5–8.8% per year.
In recent months, business has been difficult, so I've had to use the interest from my savings.
Now, should I quit and work for a company to have a stable income or continue trading to have flexible time to take care of my children?"

At 25, I used to earn 8 million/month. Now some months I make 35 million but still feel poor
At 21, after graduating, I received a salary of 8 million.
I knew that amount wasn’t enough to do anything big, so I started taking on side jobs after work: design, running ads, doing whatever clients needed on weekends.
Some months I worked nearly 12 hours a day.
At 22, my income rose to about 15 million.
At 23, I quit my main job and switched entirely to freelancing. Some months I earned 25–30 million, the best month nearly 40 million.
I began to think I had finally escaped the money shortage.
I saved over 400 million and planned to use that to start my own service.
But just as I was about to invest, my partner quit, taking almost all the clients with them.
I lost several months of income, and the plan had to be stopped.
My family told me to go back and get a job with a 20 million salary for stability.
But I didn’t want to.
It took me 4 years to increase my income from 8 to 35 million; would I really go back to a salaried job just because of one failure?
But looking at the 400 million sitting idle in my account, I started to get scared.
At 25, should I keep gambling to earn more or hold the money and choose a stable life?
If it were you, would you dare to take the risk and continue?
