About AIShiftsToSoftware

AI earnings shift the focus from hardware to software monetization. Nvidia and Marvell validated compute and networking demand; Marvell revenue rose 37% YoY and its next-quarter guidance beat expectations. CrowdStrike revenue grew 26%, net new ARR rose 51% to $333M and its full-year outlook increased. Salesforce and Okta also gained on results and guidance, while Synopsys fell. Focus is now on firms that turn AI spending into orders, recurring revenue and FCF. Share your view under this topic.

Vuoden 2028 talousvuoden tavoite: 1 biljoonan dollarin liikevaihto? Nvidia sytyttää Wall Streetin uudet odotukset
Alkuperäinen otsikko: "Vuoden 2028 tilikauden tavoite 10 biljoonaa Yhdysvaltain dollaria tuloja?

AI demand spreads from hardware to software Looking at this AI earnings season, there has been a quite important change. Hardware companies like Nvidia and Marvell still have rock-solid data. Nvidia's Q2 revenue doubled, profits rose 126%, with data centers accounting for over 90% of revenue. Marvell's revenue grew 37%, and next quarter guidance exceeded expectations.#WalshPolicyFramework #AIShiftsToSoftware #BTCOptionsExpiryTest

🚨 MARVELL BEAT THE QUARTER… SO WHY IS $MRVL DOWN 8%? That’s the real signal heading into Friday. $MRVL delivered a strong quarter: $2.739B in revenue, up 37% YoY, with Data Center revenue jumping 46%. Management also raised its FY2027 and FY2028 revenue outlooks and still expects a major Custom acceleration starting in 2H FY2027. Yet the stock is getting hit. At 6:15am CT: $MRVL -8% $SNDK -2% $MU -2% $WDC -1% Meanwhile, the direct AI leaders are holding up: #DailyOrbit

The next phase of AI may be less about the models themselves and more about how deeply they become integrated into everyday software. that shift could create some interesting opportunities as companies adapt and new use cases emerge. The real question is: Who benefits most from this transition? #AIShiftsToSoftware

#AIShiftsToSoftware AI hardware proved companies are willing to spend. Software now has to prove they're willing to pay. Strong results from CrowdStrike, Salesforce and Okta suggest monetization may finally be moving beyond GPUs and data centers into recurring software revenue. That's important because infrastructure built the AI boom, but applications need to create the returns. If ARR, margins and FCF keep improving, the next AI winners may be the companies monetizing compute, not selling it

Marvell’s 37% revenue growth and stronger guidance continue to support the AI infrastructure buildout, while CrowdStrike’s 26% revenue growth, 51% increase in net new ARR to $333 million, and upgraded full-year outlook provide a clear example of what successful AI-driven monetization can look like. My view is that the next major divide will be between companies simply benefiting #WalshPolicyFramework #AIShiftsToSoftware #BTCOptionsExpiryTest

Memory repairs while $NVDA and $AVGO stay red into tonight's print At 11:15am CT, $SNDK traded $1496, +1%, $MU $938, +1%, and $WDC $462, +3% while $SOXX traded $512, -0.4%, $NVDA $210, -1%, and $AVGO $350, -2%. The morning macro release did not turn into another storage-led unwind. BEA's July PCE printed 0.2% m/m and 3.7% y/y, with core PCE at 0.2% m/m and 3.3% y/y. That kept the rates filter on, but the cash-session spread is different from 7:35am CT, when memory was the weak pocket and $ORCL was one of the few green AI infra names. Our view is the tape is separating the YMTC / Samsung NAND scare from the financing-quality debate heading into $NVDA tonight. Memory now needs to prove the supply reset is not a FY27 pricing break. $NVDA and $AVGO still need to prove that demand, gross-margin quality, and financing exposure can clear the bar even with duration still tight. If memory gives back this spread before the close, Monday's catch-down thesis is back in control. If $SNDK, $MU, and $WDC hold green while $NVDA stays red into earnings, the market is telling you today's risk is concentrated in big-ticket AI infra funding and tonight's print, not a fresh demand break across semis.

$SNDK Sandisk — Possible Night Scenarios $SNDK | U.S. Storage Sector After a powerful rally, the stock is now trading at elevated levels with significant divergence and stretched expectations. The recent surge is largely tied to the AI narrative, with investors pricing in stronger future demand. Key drivers behind the move include accelerating AI inference demand, rising flash-memory prices, long-term contracts locking in capacity, and strong institutional capital inflows. #ETHTests2500
