I think the “opportunity vs. already too high” question comes down to whether OKB's new tokenomics are followed by real utility growth. 🟢 Why the thesis is stronger now 21M fixed supply creates a much clearer scarcity narrative than the previous supply structure. OKX + X Layer + OKB creates a potential ecosystem flywheel: more activity → more utility → potentially more demand for OKB. The comparison with BNB is understandable, but BNB's value is backed by years of deep ecosystem usage, so OKB still has to prove that part. The fact that OKB is around $100 rather than its previous $258.6 high doesn't automatically mean it's cheap. A lower price than the ATH is not, by itself, a valuation metric. ⚠️ What I'd watch The biggest question isn't “Can OKB hit $120?” It's: “Does OKB actually become necessary or increasingly useful inside the OKX/X Layer ecosystem?” If real utility, users, transaction activity and ecosystem adoption grow, the fixed 21M supply becomes much more meaningful. If demand doesn't grow, scarcity alone won't guarantee appreciation. So I'd describe OKB as a fundamentally interesting tokenomics reset with an unproven long-term ecosystem thesis, rather than simply “the next BNB.” And after a 16% weekly move, chasing it purely because the chart looks strong carries more risk than evaluating the next stage of adoption.
