This FAQ covers airdrop vouchers and compensation vouchers for OKX trading bots. The rules and availability may vary by voucher, so always check the details shown on your voucher.

What should I know about airdrop vouchers?

Why don't my account balance and available balance match?

An airdrop voucher's principal is included in your account balance. However, OKX provides these funds for the bot specified by the voucher, so they appear as funds in use and aren't included in the amount you can transfer or withdraw.

Why do some funds in my account show as in use?

These funds may be the principal from an airdrop voucher. You can only use the principal for the bot specified by the voucher. While the voucher is in use, you can't use the principal for other trades, transfers, or withdrawals.

On the web: Go to Trade > Bots & Copy > My vouchers.

On the app: Go to Trade > Bots & Copy > More > My vouchers.

Note: use the airdrop voucher before the expiry time shown on it.

Can I withdraw the principal from an airdrop voucher?

No. OKX provides the voucher principal to open the specified bot. You can't transfer, withdraw, sell, or redeem it for cash.

Can I use an airdrop voucher for regular trading?

No. You must create the specified bot from the voucher's dedicated entry point. You can't use the voucher for regular spot or futures trading, transfers, or any other purpose.

How do I use an airdrop voucher?

Open your voucher wallet and create the bot from the entry point shown on the voucher. The system applies the bot type and preset parameters automatically.

On the web: Go to Trade > Bots & Copy > My vouchers. Select the voucher, then select Use now.

On the app: Go to Trade > Bots & Copy > More > My vouchers. Select the voucher, then select Use now.

Note: use the airdrop voucher before the expiry time shown on it.For more details, refer to How do I use strategy airdrop vouchers?

Why can't I change the parameters of an airdrop voucher bot?

The system presets and locks the trading instrument, direction, leverage, and other bot parameters. You can't change them.

Can I change take-profit or stop-loss settings or add to my position?

No. A bot created with an airdrop voucher runs with the system's preset parameters. You can't change its take-profit or stop-loss settings, add to its position, or adjust other trading parameters.

Who keeps the profit from an airdrop voucher bot?

You keep the profit. After the bot ends and settlement completes, OKX credits the net profit to your account after deducting the relevant trading fees.

Can I withdraw profit from an airdrop voucher bot?

Yes. After settlement, the net profit enters your account. You can use, transfer, or withdraw it under the standard rules for your account. You can't withdraw the voucher principal.

Will an airdrop voucher loss reduce my own funds?

No. When the specified bot runs with the system's preset parameters, OKX covers the loss. You don't need to repay the voucher principal.

Can I stop an airdrop voucher bot early?

Yes. You can stop the bot while it's running. The system closes all positions and starts settlement.

Note: each voucher is a one-time benefit. You can't restore or reuse it after you stop the bot.

Will an airdrop voucher bot keep running if I don't stop it?

No. The bot runs for the period shown on the voucher. When that period ends, the system stops the bot and settles it automatically.

Will OKX return the voucher principal after the bot stops?

No. OKX reclaims the voucher principal after the bot ends. The principal isn't paid to you as cash or settlement funds.

What funds will I receive after an airdrop voucher bot stops?

OKX reclaims the voucher principal. If the bot makes a profit, you receive the net profit after the relevant trading fees.

Why did the voucher amount disappear from my account after the bot ended?

The voucher principal belongs to OKX and is provided only for the specified bot. After the bot ends and settlement completes, OKX reclaims the principal, so it no longer appears as your available funds.

Why can I no longer use my airdrop voucher?

The voucher may already be used, expired, linked to a bot, or reclaimed by the system. Check its current status, expiry time, and linked bot record.

Can OKX reissue an expired or used airdrop voucher?

No. OKX doesn't reissue a voucher after normal use, expiry, or the end of its linked bot. Check the voucher's expiry time and use it before it expires.

Why hasn't my airdrop voucher bot filled an order, or why is it paused?

Order fills depend on the market price, the bot's preset range, and its operating status. The bot may have no fills or appear paused when the market hasn't reached the preset conditions.

Why did my airdrop voucher bot end early?

The bot may end because the voucher expired, a system rule was triggered, or another operating condition was met. Check the voucher expiry time and the bot status record for details.

What should I know about compensation vouchers?

What does a compensation voucher do?

A compensation voucher covers an eligible bot. If the bot closes with an actual loss, the system pays compensation under the voucher rules, up to the voucher's face value.

Is a compensation voucher trading principal?

No. It provides loss coverage when you meet the eligibility rules. It isn't a balance you can use directly for trading, transfers, or withdrawals.

How do I use a compensation voucher?

After you claim the voucher, open the OKX app and use either path below:

On the app: Open Main menu > My rewards. If this is your first time using a compensation voucher, follow the step-by-step guide.

On the app: Go to Trade > Bots > Settings > My vouchers.

For full eligibility and usage rules, refer to How do I use compensation vouchers?

Can I use a compensation voucher if I've created the same type of bot before?

Compensation usually applies only to the first eligible bot of the specified type that you create after claiming the voucher. The voucher rules and final eligibility check determine whether you qualify.

Will I receive compensation if I create the bot from another page?

No. You must create the specified bot from the voucher's dedicated page. A bot created from another entry point doesn't qualify.

Can I change a bot's parameters after applying a compensation voucher?

No. Keep the parameters unchanged after you create the bot so it remains eligible for compensation.

Will I still qualify if I change the take-profit or stop-loss settings?

No. Changing the bot parameters, including its take-profit or stop-loss settings, makes the bot ineligible for compensation.

Will I still qualify if I add to my position?

No. Adding to the position while the bot is running makes it ineligible for compensation.

When will OKX pay compensation?

After the bot closes and settlement completes, the system checks whether the bot qualifies and has an actual loss. OKX usually credits compensation to your funding account within 30 days after the campaign ends. Check the campaign rules for the exact timing.

Can I request compensation while the bot is still running?

No. The system can confirm eligibility and the compensation amount only after the bot closes and settlement completes. An unrealized loss while the bot is running isn't the final basis for compensation.

What's the maximum compensation I can receive?

The system pays the eligible actual loss after settlement, up to the voucher's face value.

Will OKX cover the full loss if it exceeds the voucher's face value?

No. Compensation is capped at the voucher's face value. Any amount above that value isn't covered.

Will I receive compensation if the bot makes a profit?

No. You keep the profit, but a profitable bot doesn't trigger compensation.

Why didn't I receive compensation after my bot made a loss?

Your bot may be ineligible because you didn't create it from the voucher's dedicated entry point, it wasn't the first eligible bot of that type after you claimed the voucher, or you changed its parameters, take-profit or stop-loss settings, or position size. The final result depends on the settlement eligibility check. OKX usually credits compensation to your funding account within 30 days after the campaign ends; check the campaign rules for the exact timing.

Why is the compensation amount different from the loss I saw?

The system uses the eligible actual loss after settlement, not the unrealized loss shown while the bot is running. Compensation is also capped at the voucher's face value. If the campaign requires you to stop the bot by a specific time, stop it on time or the system may use a snapshot to calculate settlement. Check the settlement details on the bot page.

When does OKX confirm compensation eligibility?

The system checks eligibility after the bot closes and settlement completes. The final result shown in the settlement record applies.

What should I do if eligible compensation hasn't arrived?

First, confirm that the bot has closed and settlement is complete. OKX usually credits compensation to your funding account within 30 days after the campaign ends. If the campaign's stated payment period has passed, contact OKX Support for help.

Why can't I find an older compensation record?

The app may show records only for a limited period. If you can't find the record, contact OKX Support and ask them to check your historical compensation records and account history.
